Stop me if you've heard this one before: A young woman takes a caretaker job for an elderly patient. She starts hearing noises around the big house. Then she starts seeing ghosts. Then some more evil nonsense. Believe it or not, it's all happening again.
The latest film to try out this exact set-up is The Devil's Child, also known as Diavlo. Starring Maria Camila Perez, Alison Sullivan and Marvens Passiano, the film hails from Colombian director David Bohorquez. He's no stranger to the horror genre, having previously directed Demental (2014) and The Banished (2019). He's also directed a slew of music videos for Latin American artists.
The Devil's Child will premiere on VOD on May 7.
