Every horror fan has a favorite subgenre. One of mine is the haunted hospital. Creepy doctors, duplicitous nurses, blood-curdling screams from other wings of the place. Exactly my kind of terrifying.
Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, the heir apparent to the Redbox thriller, stars as Sam. After a horrific car accident, he awakens in the hospital that seemingly has no lights. But what it lacks in bulbs it makes up for in creepy staff. There are definitely horrible experiments going on, and Sam and his fellow patients have to figure out a way to escape before they're put on the operating table. There will be plenty of monsters - figurative and literal - to fend off along the way.
Disquiet opens in select theaters and VOD on February 10.
