Running Time:89 Minutes

Long distance relationships can be hard. And in any relationship
there are struggles. Like Crazy
fantastically tells the story of two young people caught at the crossroads of
love.

Jacob (Anton Yelchin) and Anna (Felicity Jones) meet at a Los
Angeles college where they fall madly in love and spend every minute together.
But Anna, being a Londoner, can't violate her visa and must return home for the
summer. However, after spending one last night together, they decide that she
can't leave. Violating her visa will prove to be one of the biggest mistakes
made as the pair try to make a success of their relationship.

The story isn't without its flaws (Anna seems a little needy and
Jacob comes off as weak) but there's nothing unrealistic about it. Yelchin and
Jones have amazing chemistry and truly convinced me that their love is the
forever, unwavering kind.

There's a lot of back-and-forth tension, especially considering
that Anna can't return to the United States. I was emotionally attached to the
characters, so anything that happened really pulled at me. When the story is
good enough, I'm invested in the ending. And for me, the ending was just as it
should have been.

Like Crazy is not a
fairy tale. Nothing is perfect and the characters are genuine. The acting is
stellar, the script is improvised and the soundtrack is perfect. Like Crazy was simply a love story about
the ups and downs of real love.
