Trailer: Riddick

Universal has just released the first trailer for their forthcoming film Riddick.  Starring Vin Diesel and Karl Urban, Riddick marks the latest chapter in the groundbreaking saga that began back in 2000 with Pitch Black.

In the film Diesel stars as Riddick, a dangerous, escaped convict who is wanted by every known bountyhunter in the galaxy.  But after being left for dead in a seemingly lifeless planet, our antihero soon finds himself fighting for survival against an unknown alien species.

Warner Bros. Moves Up 'The Hangover Part III'

A day after Paramount Pictures announced that they were moving up the release of their blockbuster tentpole Star Trek Into Darkness Warner Brothers has opted to do the same thing with their big May release The Hangover Part III.

Richard Madden Becomes Prince for Cinderlla

Richard Madden, star of HBO's hit drama 'Game of Thrones,' has been cast as the Prince in Walt Disney's upcoming live action telling of the populat classic.  Madden joins previosuly announced cast memebers Lily James (Cinderella) and Cate Blanchett (wicked stepmother).  The film, which has yet to get an official title or release date, is being directed by Sir. Kenneth Branagh.

In honor of all the wonderful mothers out there who give their lives to the raising of children, Walt Disney Studios has released this very special video in conjunction with their upcoming film Monsters University.

Poster: Redemption

Roadside Attractions has just released a new poster for their upcoming film Redeption.

In the film Jason Statham stars as Joey, a veteran who finds himself homeless and damaged after returning to London from a tour in Afghanistan.  In an effort to rehabilitate himself Joey seeks help from a young nun who works at an inner-city parish.  But Joey has some desirable traits and is soon finds himself caught within the grips of the dark London criminal underworld.

Trailer: Ender's Game

Summit Entertainment has just released a brand new trailer for their upcoming sci-fi thriller Ender's Game, which shows just how Earth survives a strategized attack by an alien race.  The film, which is based on the best-selling novel by Orson Scott Card, stars Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld, Ben Kingsley, Viola Davis, Abigail Breslin and Harrison Ford.

Check out the trailer and be ready to fight for the human race when Ender's Game hits theaters just in time for the holiday season on November 1, 2013.

Paramount Moves Up 'Star Trek Into Darkness'

When it was originally announced that select cities would have early 'sneak peak' IMAX showings of J.J. Abrams' highly anticipated Star Trek Into Darkness, distributor Paramount Pictures could have never expected the reaction they got.  Showings in Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Seattle, Austin, San Francisco, Houston, San Diego and Minneapolis are now Sold Out, and other citites are showing great interest in the sequel to 2009's summer blockbuster Star Trek.

Lily James is Disney's Cinderella

After a long and intense search Walt Disney Pictures has finally announced that Lily James, best known for her work on the popular PBS series 'Downton Abbey,' will be portraing Cinerella in their forthcoming live-action adaptation of the beloved literary classic.  Sir Kenneth Branagh is set to direct the film and Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett has already signed on to star as the evil stepmother.

Disney is expected to make other casting announcements in the coming weeks as the film heads towards production.  No official release date has been named.

Trailer: Aftershock

A red-band trailer has finally surfaced for Eli Roth's festival hit Aftershock.  The film, which is directed by Nicolás López and stars Eli Roth, Ariel Levy, Nicolas Martinez, Lorenza Izzo and Andrea Osvart, takes place in Chili on a night when an earthquake strikes and all hell breaks lose.  But the earthquake proves to be only part of the battle as the survivors find themselves putted against not only nature's elements, but those of the huiman psyche.

The film, written by both Roth and López, hits select theaters on May 10th.
