Singular “King’s Man” Returns with a New Trailer

In 2015, Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Secret Service combined fun action scenes, stylized violence and sharp suits that birthed a franchise and proved Colin Firth could tackle an action scene as well as he could emerge seductively from a pond.

Now, as with any good franchise, we get the next iteration of the series — a prequel that takes place during the early 1900s and covers the formation of the independent spy agency. The trailer sets the same tone as previous films, a mix of stylized action scenes and British charm. The cast of The King’s Man includes Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Bruhl, Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance.

See the trailer below and catch The King’s Man in theaters on the date-night-appropriate February 14, 2020.
