There are only fifty-four days until Thor: Ragnarok is released and Marvel Studios has just released a new spot. Included in the spot is new footage: Thor trying to flirt with Tessa Thompson’s ‘Valkyrie’ and Jeff Goldblum’s ‘Taskmaster’ creating a gigantic avatar of himself over the planet of Sakaar. Everything else featured we have already seen before.
Taika Waititi’s take on the Asgardian god of thunder looks to be the best installment in the trilogy, drawing comparisons to Captain America: The Winter Solider in importance in regard to it’s place in the MCU.
The movie is starting to gain a lot of traction. With its release right before DC/WB’s Justice League, director Taika Waititi needs to deliver. We don’t have to remind most of you about the first two films, both of which received lukewarm reception from critics and fans.
