A new comedy from Brandon Dickerson (Sironia) explores crumbling marriages, stuck careers and the great outdoors in Amanda & Jack Go Glamping.
Amanda (Amy Acker) and Jack (David Arquette) are at their wits end in their marriage. Jack, a dejected one-hit author, agrees to go “glamping” (think redone hipster airstreams instead of tents) in order to save their marriage. When they arrive, they realize they’ve been double booked with honeymooning hipsters and stuck with the handsome landowner, Nate. As the couples throw axes and learn how to live an eco-friendly life (while accompanied by the constantly-shirtless Nate), Amanda and Jack are forced to confront long-simmering issues.
Amanda & Jack Go Glamping debuts at the Austin Film Festival on October 29 and opens in theaters and on VOD November 10.
