“Wakanda Forever” Arrives on Disney+ February 1

If you couldn’t make it to the movie theater to see the latest Marvel flick, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, or you’re just ready to rewatch the epic sequel, then bookmark February 1st on your calendars.

Disney+ has announced that the sequel to the wildly popular 2018 film will be available to stream starting on Wednesday, February 1st, and available in IMAX Enhanced, which shows the film with an expanded aspect ratio for a more immersive viewing experience.

Before debuting on Disney+, fans can also listen to a new podcast, “Wakanda Forever: The Official Black Panther Podcast” to learn more about the intense journey of making the film, which saw setbacks and rewrites after the death of its star, Chadwick Boseman.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever sees Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje fighting to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. They must band together to protect their homeland and to find a path forward after losing their king.

See it for the first time or revisit Wakanda starting February 1st on Disney+.
