Read Along With New “Middle School” Trailer

“Surviving middle school is tough,” proclaims Rafe Khatchadorian (Griffin Gluck) after transferring to an oppressive, rule-crazy middle school. While middle school was generally rough for everyone, Rafe has a hard time dealing with uber-controlling Principal Dwight (Andrew Daly). Together with his best friend Leo, the two set out to bring creativity and expression back to their school.

The new trailer lays all this out, overlaid with big school-ish bubble words illustrating what characters and voice-overs are saying. It’s a cute, accessible way to promote the film to younger kids and their parents.

Based on a popular novel of the same name, Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life looks like it’s going to be a fluffy, easily-digestible film for tweens and their parents alike.

Middle School co-stars Lauren Graham, Rob Riggle, Thomas Barbusca and Adam Pally.  It is scheduled to hit theaters in October 2016.
