IFC Midnight has just released a new trailer for Zack Parker's thriller Proxy.
The film, which debuted at the 2013 Toronto Film Festival, follows Esther, a young female who survives a vicious attack by a hooded assaliant. When she joins a support group and strikes up a friendship with fellow group member Melanie, her life beguns to show signs of life. But as the two women grow closer both of their lives become dangerous as they find it hard to separate reality from the events taking place in their heads.
Starring Alexa Havins, Kristina Klebe Alexia Rasmussen and Joe Swanberg, Proxy is a dark and thought-provoking thriller; one that forces you to take a step back and question all that you have seen. It hits theater in NYC and VOD on April 18th.

I long to live in LA, where my movie obsession will actually help me fit in, but for now I am content with my home in Austin. I prefer indies to blockbusters, Longhorns to Sooners and Halloween to Friday the 13th. I miss the classics, as well as John Ritter, and I hope to one day sit down and interview the amazing Kate Winslet.
