Dave Franco, fresh off his magical role in Jon M. Chu’s Now You See Me 2, embodies the role of Ian, a fresh faced adolescent who challenges fate as he undertakes a series of dares in an effort to win big in an underground game where the “watchers” hold all the cards, in Lionsgate’s Nerve.
Starring opposite Emma Roberts, Nerve works to unlock the young adult crowd, giving them a new element in the world of online contact; one that might hit a bit too close to home. Part comedy, part romance and part high stakes thriller, the coming-of-age story is a unique undertaking for a studio, something that Franco doesn’t take for granted.
Check out that and a whole lot more as we discuss the film, Scrubs and growing up Franco in our interview.
