With a background in history, communications, and literature, my profound love of interesting stories pretty much automatically requires me to enjoy film. By day, I work at a nonprofit, but I spend a significant portion of my free time surrounded by film in some way. If I leave a film and can’t remember a single thing I actually liked, it’s a bad day. I like a wide range of movies and can usually find at least something tolerable, if not enjoyable, in almost any film – but I have limits, namely anything related to Twilight or Nicholas Sparks (sorry!). If I'm going to be entertained and love a film, it has to be a movie with a plot that's at least somewhat original or at least interesting. I have a soft spot for anything adapted from a graphic novel, and I especially enjoy animated films. Give me drama, action, or a thriller over a romance film any day. I’m a writer by trade and a movie enthusiast by right, so feel free to hit me up if you have something interesting.
