In a somewhat surprising announcement, Netflix has revealed a premiere date for season two of their lukewarm, initially canceled designer competition show Next in Fashion.
Original co-host Alexa Chung is out, replaced by fashion icon Gigi Hadid. Hadid joins co-host Tan France of Queer Eye fame as the pair guides a new group of designers through a rigorous competition to become the official "Next in Fashion." Throughout the ten-episode season, they must outwit, outplay, and outlast the competition to achieve the grand prize: a year's supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills and $200,000.
Okay, I think I mixed up a few shows there. But truthfully, the show merges Bravos' Project Runway and Amazon's Making the Cut, just on Netflix.
With all episodes dropping on March 3rd, Next in Fashion's second season will pit a new crop of twelve designers against one another, all hoping to cash in on the real ultimate prize: $200,000 and an elusive IMDB credit.
