There isn’t enough said about Lucille Ball.
Easily one of the most impactful women to ever enter Hollywood, the funny redhead had much more to say than audiences saw on their television sets.
A film about her life is long overdue. Thanks to Aaron Sorkin that is about to change.
Amazon Prime just released a teaser for the forthcoming Being the Ricardos. Though we don’t see Nicole Kidman’s face until the final few seconds, the voiceover tells the story. Strong-willed and independent, we get a glimpse at the power Lucy had when she entered the room. And if nothing else, we learn that she has a story to tell.
As with any Sorkin project, the dialogue will be excellent. However, I can’t imagine a situation where Lucy doesn’t own the screen.
Co-starring Javier Bardem, J.K. Simmons, Nina Arianda, Alia Shawkat, and Tony Hale, Being the Ricardos hits theaters December 10 before debuting on Prime Video December 21.
