The Shia LaBeouf Penned “Honey Boy” Gets New Trailer

Love him or hate him you can't deny the raw talent that exists within the mind and soul of Shia LaBeouf. At one time the most dynamic child star of his generation, the man has experienced a series of highs and lows in conjunction with his tabloid misfires and overall egotistical outburst.

But then he comes along and creates a film like Honey Boy, an autobiographical satire of his relationship with his alcoholic and psychologically abusive father. The result is truly mesmerizing, fully captured in the just-released trailer for the film, highlighting its recent four Film Independent Spirit Award nominations.

Honey Boy co-stars Noah June and Lucas Hedges. The film is currently playing in theaters and is expected to hit the streaming service later this year.

I prefer indies to blockbusters, Longhorns to Sooners and Halloween to Friday the 13th. I miss the classics, as well as John Ritter, and I hope to one day sit down and interview the amazing Kate Winslet.
