Tabbed as a cinematic event, Warner Bros. Pictures has officially announced a film version of Bruce Springsteen’s latest album, Western Stars, set to be released in theaters worldwide after its premiere next month at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival.
Preformed in his nearly 100-year-old barn, Western Stars will give fans the opportunity to see and hear the famed musician perform all 13 songs on the album, backed by a band and a beautifully enriching orchestra. The film will weave in Springsteen’s archival footage and narration, creating a documentary that evokes the many emotions that encompass the American West.
Warner Bros. Pictures just released a trailer for the upcoming film. Though it is still hard to fully understand the uniqueness of the project, you cannot deny the raw emotions at the core as Springsteen provides voiceover to the montage of images.
Western Stars will hit theaters worldwide this October.

I prefer indies to blockbusters, Longhorns to Sooners and Halloween to Friday the 13th. I miss the classics, as well as John Ritter, and I hope to one day sit down and interview the amazing Kate Winslet.
