Cool. Cool cool cool. After being cancelled by NBC, Community has pulled a last-minute miracle and received a 13-episode order for a sixth season courtesy of Yahoo Screen.
Series creator and showrunner Dan Harmon will be back at the helm, as will all current cast members. Sorry Troy fans, Donald Glover will unfortunately not be back at Greendale Community College. Episodes will debut weekly on the online platform.
After NBC cancelled the cult hit comedy series after season 5, fans were devastated especially since the renewal slogan for the show has always been "#sixseasonsandamovie". Rumors immediately started circulating of where the show might end up next. After it was announced that Hulu had passed on renewing the series, it was welcome news to Greendale's fans that Yahoo Screen has picked up the show.
