“Blindspot” Announces New Cast Members, Season 2 Highlight Reel at Comic-Con

The Blindspot panel at Comic-Con saw creator Martin Gero and cast members answering questions and making announcements about the much anticipated second season of the ABC drama.

The biggest announcement was that actors Luke Mitchell and Michelle Hurd will join the cast as operatives from Jane Doe’s past (Jaime Alexander). They join the previously announced Archie Panjabi as new season 2 cast members. Panjabi will play an NSA operative “who helps the team heals their wounds,” said Gero.

Gero also had this to say about season 2: It’s three months later and everyone has had a rough ride. Jane has been in a CIA black site. They’ve been questioning her for three months, and the rest of the team is listless. They’re going through the motions, and they’re dealing with anger that Jane is an imposter, especially after doing cases with her.” To accompany this, ABC released a highlight reel.

Blindspot returns to ABC on September 14.
