Diane seems like your run of the mill do-gooder. She spends her days checking on sick friends, volunteering at the soup kitchen, and trying to save her son from drug addiction. But behind closed doors, Diane struggles with a dark past she can’t forget.
Mysterious and intriguing, the new trailer for Diane promises an intimate look at one woman’s struggles. Mary Kay Place (Being John Malkovich; The Big Chill) plays Diane, with Jake Lacy (Obvious Child; Carol) and Estelle Parsons (Bonnie and Clyde; Rachel, Rachel) also starring. Directed and written by Ken Jones (Hitchcock/Truffaut), the film premiered at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival, where it won Best Narrative Feature, Best Screenplay and Best Cinematography.
Sure to feature a powerhouse performance from veteran actor Mary Kay Place, Diane opens in New York and Los Angeles on March 29, with a national rollout to follow.
