Making friends as an adult is no easy task if the new trailer for Friendship has anything to say about it. Tim Robinson and Paul Rudd star in this new “nightmare comedy” about male bonding gone awry.
Robinson plays Craig, your typical suburban dad who spends his evenings in a recliner in front of the TV. When Craig meets his new neighbor Brian (Paul Rudd), he starts to think maybe he’s found a new friend. Unfortunately, things don’t go to plan. The trailer is equal parts suspense and comedy, becoming increasingly frantic over its short two minutes and promises mayhem ahead.
Written and directed by Andrew DeYoung, the new film from A24, Friendship, screens at the upcoming SXSW Film Festival on March 9 ahead of its theatrical release this May.
