Looks like Aaron Sorkin is getting into gambling. At least, on the screen that is. The newest film from writer and now director Aaron Sorkin has a heavy-hitting cast that looks dressed to impress Academy voters this fall.
Molly’s Game is based on the true story of Molly Bloom, an Olympic-class skier who ran the world’s most exclusive high-stakes poker game for a decade before being arrested in the middle of the night by 17 FBI agents. Her only ally seems to be her criminal defense lawyer Charlie Jaffrey, who learns there’s more to Molly than meets the eye.
Jessica Chastain stars as Molly while Idris Elba plays defense lawyer Charlie Jaffrey. The film also features Kevin Costner, Michael Cera, Jeremy Strong and Chris O’Dowd.
