Just in time for the Toronto International Film Festival, we have a first look at the new film Ben is Back, starring Academy Award winner Julia Roberts and nominee Lucas Hedges.
The trailer seems like a scene from any American home. As Ben (Hedges) smokes from a vape pen and peers around an empty house, his mother, Holly (Roberts), arrives home and welcomes her son with open, but surprised, arms. According to the synopsis, Ben returns on Christmas Eve morning to a wary Holly, worried about her son staying clean. The film also stars Courtney B. Vance and Kathryn Newton.
Ben is Back will have its world premiere at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival, and be in theaters on December 7, 2018. In the meantime, watch the trailer below.
