Score:A+

A series that defines a generation comes to an end as Harry, Ron, and Hermione must return to their beloved Hogwarts to find and destroy Voldemort's remaining horcruxes. As they near their goal, Voldemort senses the imminent danger and everyone understands  the threat and importance of the battle that has just begun.

Let me start by saying that technology has come so far in the last decade that while the first film of the series was enchanting and addictive, the finale is unquestionably magical. It is simply flawless. From the make-up and special effects to the original score, I was unequivocally engrossed in what I honestly wish was true to form reality.  I highly recommend seeing what will inevitably be one of the largest movies of our time in IMAX- 3D. As immersed as I was in the emotion of the story, I found myself physically in the middle of the action as well, and I would have it no other way. For a film this intense, with so much going on, the only way to catch it all is to see it from floor to ceiling, consuming you as well as the space all around you.

With that being said, I cannot repeat enough how simply genius I find the series' screenwriters. They have mastered the delicate art of extracting and modifying the perfect material from the book to the exact degree necessary to move the plot, convey the emotion, and explain the details, all without running too long or abandoning  vital pieces. As a fanatic of the J.K. Rowling series, what they have crafted is nothing short of perfection.

The acting -at this point- is amazing by all, and each character brought me to tears and out-loud laughter at some point with their poignant timing. There was just enough humor to break up the heartache and the nonstop action throughout kept the plot moving so quickly that you couldn't possibly dwell on any moment too long. If anyone felt the need to complain about the slower pace or open end of the more informative first half of the Deathly Hallows pair of films, rest assured, your much anticipated, well deserved, action-packed conclusion has finally arrived. You'll only wish it wasn't over.
