As we cross into the second half of 2016 (when did THAT happen???), it’s time again to welcome a new crop of movies and TV shows as well as wave goodbye to others on Netflix.
For July, the big news is that all three Back to the Future films will be available to stream on Netflix. So whether you’re feeling classic, futuristic, or Western, all options are available to you. Other films available starting in July include Beverly Hills Cop, Gladiator, Lethal Weapon, The Big Short, and The Invitation.
Netflix will also release a slew of original programming throughout the month. For films, that includes narrative features Brahman Naman, Rebirth, and Tallulah as well as documentaries Tony Robbins: I Am Not Your Guru and Last Chance U. For television, the streaming service offers up Stranger Things and Marcella as well as Marco Polo (Season 2), Degrassi: Next Class (Season 2), and Bojack Horseman (Season 3).
As usual, it’s not all good news. You only have a few days left to nostalgically sing along to Reading Rainbow’s theme song or quote along with Ricky Bobby in Talladega Nights. Trekkies will no longer be able to stream the Star Trek films from the 80s and 90s while millennials will no longer be able to sing along with Melissa Joan Hart and Britney Spears in that 1999 classic Drive Me Crazy.
