When TNT's 'Men of a Certain Age' returned for its sophomore season, no one expected the ratings to be so low. It comes as no surprise that that network has declined the request for a season three pick-up, stalling the dramedy that followed the lives of three middle-aged men from turing another year older.
The cancelation comes a mere 24 hours after co-star Andre Braugher earned an Emmy nomination for his work on the show.
The open spot should help the network as it looks to free up some space for its recently reported reboot of 'Dallas', the popular 80's hit that will be returning to the small screen next summer.
TNT's official statement concerning their decision:
"TNT has been proud to be a part of Men of a Certain Age for two seasons. While the show has featured great storytelling and impeccable performances, the audience simply hasn't built to the point where we can continue the series. This was an extremely difficult decision for us. We wish Ray Romano, Mike Royce and the terrific cast and crew of Men of a Certain Age the very best and look forward to exploring new programming possibilities in the future."

I prefer indies to blockbusters, Longhorns to Sooners and Halloween to Friday the 13th. I miss the classics, as well as John Ritter, and I hope to one day sit down and interview the amazing Kate Winslet.
