Even though the posters for Episode VII were impressive, I’m not normally one who gets excited over movie posters. Sure the original Star Wars trilogy had some of the best one-sheets ever produced, but over the last twenty years there have been very few worth getting enthusiastic over.
Then there is Rogue One.
In one big swoop Disney and Lucasfilm have given you exactly what the film is about in a simplistic yet geek-tastic way. And it. is. AMAZING!!!
The posters are of Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), Director Orson Krennic (Ben Medelsohn), Chirrut înwe (Donne Yen), K-2SO (Alan Tudyk), Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed), Blaze Mlabus (Jiang Wang) and Saw Gerra (Forest Whitaker) with the plot device lit on their faces, the schematics of the infamous Death Star.
Rogue One takes place between Star Wars: Episode III and Episode IV and will tell the story of the rebels’ attempt to gather information on the planet destroying ship. Directed by Gareth Edwards the film marks the first of many planned Star Wars Universe adventures, hitting theaters on December 16th.
Take a look at the posters below and decide which one would look best in your media room (or let’s be honest, living room).
