He busted tanks in Fury, he busted guts in Inglourious Basterds and now Brad Pitt returns to the frontlines of WWII in a film that could be headed for Oscar gold.
Allied is set in 1942, and Pitt portrays an intelligence officer who falls for a French resistance fighter played by the brilliant Marion Cotillard. The latest from director Robert Zemeckis follows the couple as they struggle to keep themselves and their romance alive behind enemy lines.
The brief but thrilling debut teaser ratchets up the tension, focuses on the stunning lead actors and (best of all) refuses to reveal too much of the plot.
