‘Machete Kills’ Gets Home Video Release Date

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced that Machete Kills, the sequel to director Robert Rodriguez's Machete, will be coming home on January 21, 2014.  Can't wait that long?  You don't have to.  The film will make an early release on Digital HD on January 7th.

The film, which opened the 2013 Fantastic Fest, sees the return of Danny Trejo as Machete Cortez.  In Machete's latest advenure he is recruited by the US President to stop a global terrorist from starting an all out nuclear war!

As always, director Robert Rodriguez has pulled together a robust group of actors, including the likes of Charlie Sheen, Emilio Estevez, Mel Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard, Antonio Banderas, Cuba Gooding Jr., Lady Gaga, Vanessa Hudgens and Demian Bichir.  Together they continue the wild and crazy advnture surrounding Machete to the big screen in style, taking audience members on a truly unique adventure.

The film's Blu-Ray Combo Pack includes hours of additional footage, including deleted/ extended scenes and a 'making of' featureete.

I have no shame when it comes to what I like, and if you have a problem with that, then we’ll settle it on the racquetball court. I see too many movies to actually win any film trivia contest, so don’t waste your first pick on me. My friends rent movies from my bookcase shelves, and one day I do plan to start charging. I long to live in LA, where my movie obsession will actually help me fit in, but for now I am content with my home in Austin. I prefer indies to blockbusters, Longhorns to Sooners and Halloween to Friday the 13th. I miss the classics, as well as John Ritter, and I hope to one day sit down and interview the amazing Kate Winslet.
