After almost a decade New Line Cinema and Ice Cube are looking to bring back the popular 'Friday' franchise. Current negotiations are going on between the studio and actor who would likely write, produce and star in this fourth installment. It also wouldn't surprise anyone if Ice Cube upped his ante and stepped behind the camera here as well.
TMZ is also reporting that Chris Tucker is in talks to reprise his role. Ice Cube supposedly wants him, but since his new found religion a few years back Tucker has stepped away from being shown in a pot smoking mode. But who knows, money has a way of changing minds.

I long to live in LA, where my movie obsession will actually help me fit in, but for now I am content with my home in Austin. I prefer indies to blockbusters, Longhorns to Sooners and Halloween to Friday the 13th. I miss the classics, as well as John Ritter, and I hope to one day sit down and interview the amazing Kate Winslet.
