Today saw the release of the final Captain America: Civil War trailer and boy did it deliver!
The next installment in the Captain America trilogy finds the Avengers on opposite ends of the fight after past events have begun to raise question over whether the superheroes should be held accountable for their actions – regardless of the good they are attempting to do.
The trailer offers up a few new scenes, including Chadwick Boseman as the Black Panther, the possible outcome to Don Cheadle’s War Machine and some new vicious fight scenes between former best friends Iron Man and Captain America.
The biggest news though came from the appearance of Spider-Man himself (in all his red and blue “underoo” glory). As previously announced, the guys over at Marvel found a way to bring the slinging vigilante to the MCU - and his arrival was nothing short of spectacular.
Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6, 2016. In addition to the return of Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Paul Ruff, Jeremy Renner and Paul Bettany, this film marks the introduction of Chadwick Boseman as the Black Panther and Tom Holland as the Amazing Spider-Man.
