Comedians Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart have made the “deepest cut” possible into the superhero bin and pulled out Electra Woman and Dyna Girl from Sid & Marty Kroftt’s cult-classes television series of the same name.
Bringing the female heroines out of the trippy seventies and into the 21st century takes bravado, wit and a lot of gumption, and judging from the newly released trailer, the ladies have nailed the landing with aplomb.
The ladies take the dynamic duo (dua?) from small town heroines to the big city in hopes of finding the heroic limelight that we all search for. But will their friendship survive the attention and pressure?
The fresh twist on the old-school cult-classic hits digital platforms on June 7th, just ahead of its July 5th DVD release. Amongst other bonus content the hoem video edition will sport eight features that take the viewers deep within the crime-fighting world of our newest superheroes.
