A24 Films has just released a new clip from their upcoming film The Spectacular Now, the highly publicized hit out of Sunday.
The film, which features an all-star cast that includes Shailene Woodley, Miles Teller, Brie Larson, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Kyle Chander, shows how a young man adapts and welcomes the funny and thrilling business of adulthood. What results is a heavy dose of reality as the passion and adrenaline of young comes flying to the forefront.
The Spectacular Now, which is directed by James Ponsoldt, opens in New York and Los Angeles on August 9th, before going wide on August 23rd.

I long to live in LA, where my movie obsession will actually help me fit in, but for now I am content with my home in Austin. I prefer indies to blockbusters, Longhorns to Sooners and Halloween to Friday the 13th. I miss the classics, as well as John Ritter, and I hope to one day sit down and interview the amazing Kate Winslet.
