One of the most celebrated and venerated directors of all time, Brian De Palma, is getting a documentary all their own. Thanks to a recently released trailer, audiences have gotten their first look thanks at A24’s forthcoming De Palma.
Directors/producers Noah Baumbach and Jake Paltrow delve into not only the life and films of the famed storyteller, but his singular vision and the trials and tribulations that come with being a filmmaker in Hollywood for forty years.
The film looks absolutely amazing and the fact that you get over and hour-and-a-half with a director that has given us some of the best movies of all time is nothing short of amazing. To be able to learn and understand what it takes to make those kinds of films is sure to make please film fans, and the film itself will likely be shown at film schools across the country.
De Palma arrives in theaters on June 10.
