The Fantastic Four heroes have been trying to succeed on the big screen for decades. As we approach the release of its latest reboot, Fantastic Four: First Steps, CinemaCon audiences were treated to an exclusive first look at the film.
The sneak peek, introduced virtually by Kevin Feige, introduces us to the four astronauts that will go “into space and come back forever changed.” The team playing this quartet consists of Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm.
New to the CinemaCon audience was a snippet of Julia Garner as the film’s villain Silver Surfer. According to the synopsis, the film is set in the 1960s and portrays the origin story of the Fantastic Four, as our heroes must defend Earth from “a ravenous space god called Galactus and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer.”
The Fantastic Four: First Steps, part of the MCU, hits theaters on July 25, 2025.
