Apple TV+ Film “Flora and Son” Gets Soundtrack Release

If you, like so many, haven’t been able to shake “Drive It Like You Stole It” from 2016's Sing Street out of your head, you’ll be delighted to hear that John Carney has a new film, Flora and Son, that appears to be just as musically infectious.

Flora and Son finds single mom Flora (Eve Hewson) unsure how to deal with her rebellious teen, Max (Oren Kinlan). She finds an old guitar, and with the help of an online guitar coach (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), her and Max bond over their love of music.

Lakeshore Records is set to release Flora and Son—Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally on September 15.  The drop comes two weeks prior to the film's Apple TV+ debut, allowing fans an opportunity for an early listen of the tracks produced by Gary Clark and performed by the film's actors.

The eighteen track compilation consists of original songs, like “High Life” performed by Hewson and Kinlan and “Welcome to L.A.” performed by Gordon-Levitt, as well as scores from Clark and Carney.

Listen to “High Life” below, find the soundtrack, availably digitally on September 15, and watch Flora and Son on Apple TV+ beginning September 29.
