Skateland is one of those films that features an incredible ensemble that allows the original story to excel beyond even the writer's expectations. It is a collaborative effort, benefiting most from a cohesive set of actors who want nothing more than to give a great performance.
So, it was incredible to see just how many people decided to make the trip to Austin to support the film's second premiere, this time at the prestigious SXSW Film Festival. We were fortunate enough to garner a spot on the carpet, getting to elaborate on our previous conversations with them as we dug deep into the philosophical aspects of the film, its metaphoric components to present day, and that all important kiss....Okay, maybe we didn't do that, but we definitely joined in on the fun, shooting the bull with some of Hollywood's biggest up and comers!
