Fans of AMC's Fear the Walking Dead don't have to wait too long before they can own the entire first season of the hugely popular series for themselves. Anchor Bay Entertainmnet announced today that the six-episode package will hit retail stores on December 1st in both Blu-Ray and DVD format.
The series, which takes place in the same universe as the stations other smash hit The Walking Dead, takes place in Los Angeles and centers around a high school guidance counselor (Kim Davis), an English teacher (Cliff Curtis) and their family who, admist their own struggles, are forced to navagate a mysterious outbreak that threatens to further their divide as they work to blend their two families. The everyday pressures take a back seat as society begins to deteroriate and a survival of the fittest situation takes hold.
Much like the origianl series, the first season of Fear the Walking Dead boasts six heart-pounding episodes. And with season two set to debut in 2016, this set is one that should be at the top of everyone's holiday wish list!

I prefer indies to blockbusters, Longhorns to Sooners and Halloween to Friday the 13th. I miss the classics, as well as John Ritter, and I hope to one day sit down and interview the amazing Kate Winslet.
