Disney/Pixar has just released a second trailer for their highly anticipated upcoming project The Good Dinosaur.
The film, which will be released in November, marks the first time the studio has ever released two films in the same year. This follow the summer's mosterous personality tale Inside Out.
Based on what we have seen thus far, Dinosaur looks to be a coming-of-age film that asks the all important question: What if the astroid that hit Earth millinos of years ago simply missed, leaving large dinosaurs roaming the terrain? The film centers around Apatosaurus named Arlo who befriends a human and uncovers a lot about himself as he discovers to face his fears.
While the material we've gotten thus far still leaves quite a bit to be desired, Pixar's strong run of hits (and yes, I am choosing to forget the catastophe that was Cars 2) has helped generate quite a bit of buzz for this one. And with its release coming right dab in the middle of the holiday season, they likely have another moneymaker on their hands. I just hope that it delievers a bit more than what was conveyed by first impression!

I see too many movies to actually win any film trivia contest, so don’t waste your first pick on me. My friends rent movies from my bookcase shelves, and one day I do plan to start charging. I long to live in LA, where my movie obsession will actually help me fit in, but for now I am content with my home in Austin. I prefer indies to blockbusters, Longhorns to Sooners and Halloween to Friday the 13th. I miss the classics, as well as John Ritter, and I hope to one day sit down and interview the amazing Kate Winslet.
