Continuing to keep us all glued to our TVs, Netflix has recently released a trailer for their new film Fatal Affair. In line with films like The Boy Next Door, Fatal Attraction and Obsessed, the plot revolves around Ellie (Nia Long), a woman who has recently moved to a new house in the countryside to restart her rocky marriage with her husband Marcus (Stephen Bishop). After a brief encounter with an old friend, David (Omar Epps), she becomes the center of his world, resulting in escalating and scarier encounters which reveal that David is more dangerous and unstable than she’d realized.
Directed by Peter Sullivan, Fatal Affair seems primed to be an exciting thriller with high stakes. Watch it on Netflix beginning July 16.
