Memory is Questioned in First “The Woman in the Window” Trailer

Joe Wright, director of AtonementHanna, and Darkest Hour, returns to the psychological thriller genre with The Woman in the Window.

Based on A.J. Finn’s novel, the film centers on an agoraphobic child psychologist (Amy Adams) who befriends a neighbor from across the street (Julianne Moore). But things aren’t quite what they seem when her new friend goes missing, and foul play is presumed. Forced to question her memory, we begin to realize that sometim3es the truth is stranger than fiction.

Capturing the essence and visual components of Joe Wright’s previous films, The Woman in the Window appears to embody his style and energy. Combine that with a strong ensemble cast that includes Bryan Tyree Henry, Gary Oldman, Anthony Mackie, Wyatt Russell, and Jennifer Jason Leigh, and this thriller has piqued our interest.
