This Valentine’s Day get ready for a different kind of date movie. Actually, maybe skip seeing this one with a date at all. Downhill stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Will Ferrell as a married couple on vacation with their kids in the Alps. All seems cheery until they barely escape an avalanche and Ferrell seemingly abandons his family during the escape. Stunned, the couple must come to grips with the consequences of his actions.
Based on Ruben Ostlund's 2014 Swedish film Force Majeure, the black comedy is directed by Nat Faxon and Jim Rash and also stars Zach Woods, Miranda Otto and Kristofer Hivju. Check out the trailer below and catch Downhill in theaters on February 14.
