Kristen Stewart Turns Activist in “Seberg”

Inspired by true events, Seberg is named after French New Wave darling and Breathless star, Jean Seberg (Kristen Stewart). In the late 1960s, the actress was targeted by the FBI because of her support of the civil rights movement and romantic involvement with Hakim Jamal (Anthony Mackie).

Director Benedict Andrews has turned her story into a high-stakes noir thriller, keeping a close lens on Stewart’s Seberg as she grapples with love, fame, surveillance and sabotage. The film also stars Jack O’Connell, Margaret Qualley, Zazie Beetz and Vince Vaughn.

See the heart-racing trailer below and catch the film from Amazon Studios in theaters soon.
