At the Warner Bros Hall H presentation on Saturday, fans got a first look at the trailer for Guy Ritchie’s new film King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.
But as evidenced by the trailer, this isn’t your run-of-the-mill history film. Ritchie’s film, in pure Guy Ritchie style, is full of quips and brashness. With strikingly modern dialogue and a medieval setting, complete with a shirtless Hunnam boxing and the requisite Arthur pulling Excalibur from the rock, Ritchie’s King Arthur at least looks like it’ll be like no other Arthur we’ve seen before.
We’ll see if that’s a good or bad thing when the film is released on March 24, 2017. In the meantime, watch the new trailer below.
