Live after shows are becoming more and more popular (just ask Chris Hardwick!) and A&E has most definitely noticed. 'Bates Motel: After Hours' will be a live half-hour post-mortem companion series to the well-received 'Bates Motel', beginning March 3 at 11/10c, one hour after the show's season two premiere.
The first installment will feature stars Vera Farmiga, Freddie Highmore and Max Thieriot, as well as executive producers Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin.
The show, which earned an Emmy nominated for Vera Farmiga as the mysterious (and overprotective) Norma Bates, serves as a prequel to Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 Oscar nominated Psycho.
*Update: Carrie Keagan, formerly of VH1, has been announced as host to the new show.
