Hot off the heels of the successful Wonder Woman summer blockbuster, a new film is here to tell you the behind-the-scenes story. Professor Marston and the Wonder Women tells the true story of what inspired Harvard psychologist Dr. William Moulton Marston to create the iconic Wonder Woman character in the 1940’s. In creating a feminist icon, he based it off of two women: his wife Elizabeth Marston and their lover Olive Byrne.
The new posters give Professor Marston (Luke Evans), Elizabeth (Rebecca Hall) and Olive (Bella Heathcote), give them that classic superhero film spin, with the characters backlit against abstract, brightly-colored backgrounds. While Marston and his wife wear period clothes, Olive wears an outfit most similar to Wonder Woman herself.
Check out the posters below and catch it in theaters on October 13.
