This week Marvel Studios released an epic announcement in the form of two tiny chairs; Ant-Man And The Wasp has officially begun production.
The 2015 hit will reunite Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly’s ‘Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp with Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym/Ant-Man.
Not much of the plot has been released except that Rudd’s Lang will be splitting time between being a dad and a full-time superhero, until Hope Van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym brings forth an urgent mission that will force the Ant-Man and the Wasp to come together and fight against forces from their pasts.
It was announced at this year’s San Diego Comic Con that Michelle Pfeifer and Lawrence Fishburne will be joining Ant-Man And The Wasp as Janet Van Dyne/The Wasp and Dr. Bill Foster/Goliath, respectively.
Ant-Man And The Wasp is set for a July 6, 2018 release with Peyton Reed behind the camera once again. The sizeable cast also includes Judy Greer, Hannah John-Kamen, Michael Pena, David Dastmalchian, T.I. and Randall Park.
