Everyone is excited for Captain Marvel, the first female superhero to get her own film in the hugely profitable Marvel Cinematic Universe. With buzz building for its upcoming release, Marvel has just released a new featurette, and to be honest, it only increases our anticipation.
The feature focuses in on the training and preparation that star Brie Larson underwent to physically and mentally transform into Captain Carol Danvers, a.k.a. Captain Marvel.
Set to kick off a ginormous year for Marvel, Captain Marvel introduces us to the famed Danvers, allowing her to be involved in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame, the final film for many of the characters within the MCU that we have come to love.
Spider-Man: Far From Home, the third Marvel film to be released in 2019, will hit theaters in July.
Captain Marvel co-stars Samuel L. Jackson, Gemma Chan, Lee Pace, Jude Law, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Annette Bening, and Clark Gregg. Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, the film hits theaters March 8.
