When the original Mary Poppins came out in 1964, audiences didn’t have to worry about distracting patrons on their phones. But, alas, it’s 2018 and we live in a time where we have to remind people to not use their pocket computers in a dark movie theater.
Thus, the stars of Mary Poppins Returns, Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda, have filmed a new “Don’t Talk” PSA for Alamo Drafthouse. In the practically perfect message, the pair discourages phone use, threatening to throw phones into the bottomless bag of Mary Poppins.
