This summer, in preparation for the premiere of Finding Dory, Disney invites families to Dory After Dark, a one-night special presentation of both Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, airing at more than 90 locations in North America the night before Finding Dory opens to the public.
Taking place Thursday, June 16, Dory After Dark attendees will also receive an event-exclusive Dory After Dark reusable bag and an “I Speak Whale” button.
Not beginning until 9pm, Dory After Dark seems to be angling to attract millennials and the like who were Finding Nemo’s main demographic when it was released in 2003. I doubt parents with young children will bring their kids to a late night double feature but with the draw of Dory, you never know.
