Disney’s Alice Through the Looking Glass, the star studded sequel to the 2010 blockbuster, dreams its way onto Blu-Ray/DVD October 18th.
Returning for another amazing adventure are Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Johnny Depp, and Mia Wasikowska, as our lead heroine Alice. Joining them is Sacha Baron Cohen and the late Alan Rickman, in what is now considered to be his final film.
While the original film focused on Alice’s wild adventure down a rabbit hole, Through the Looking Glass centers around Depp’s Mad Hatter as he frantically searches for his family whom he presumed to be dead.
Alice Through the Looking Glass proved a financial disappointment for the studio as it garnered merely a fourth the domestic receipts of its predecessor. Disney will hope to hit it big on home video and recoup their loses.
Though no word yet on the special features, Disney has a knack for offering up a ton of fun goodies with their home video releases. This film should be no different.
